“ Great new Salvadorean restaurant. Focused mainly on pupusas and a few sides and salvadorean drinks. We enjoyed the pupusas and Ensalada drinkeverything was delicious and great. As a Salvadorean, I am picky with my pupusas I am planning to come back to this place. As I tell my friends, pupusas are made fresh, so there is usually a bit of wait, but that is normal. The place is small and welcoming. What amazed me was the pupusa prices were very affordable compared to other places. I am looking forward to coming here regularly. ”
“ If you like el Salvadorian food this place is for you. If you like South American food just stop in and enjoy. All the food is fresh and the flavors explode in your mouth. Ive already been here twice and have plans to go back. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. Two drawbacks, the hours are short, hopefully theyll be extended as the restaurant closes at 7 and they dont have a liquor license yet, coming Im told. ”
“ Run dont walk to Comalito! The food is fantastic, lovely atmosphere and warm and welcoming staff. Its a family owned restaurant and you feel part of that when you walk in. My family with young children all enjoyed dining here. We tried the whole menu and enjoyed everything. The prices are also very affordable. Would highly recommend starting with both the yucca fries and empanadas. We enjoyed the pupusas with our favorites being the cheese and zucchini and the cheese with garlic. For dessert, the warm rice pudding was delicious, but what won the night was the cream stuffed plantains! A real cuisine delicacy. Overall highly recommend a visit here, our kids gave the meal 100 stars! ”

I was surprised with a complimentary starter of fried tortillas with refried beans that tasted fresh and high quality. The coffee was served with milk in an adorable and aesthetically pleasing presentation. The pupusas were incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor. The staffs attention was excellent. I believe its better to have a small menu with a wellexecuted selection of recipes than an extensive menu typical of chain restaurants, filled with frozen ingredients and bland dishes. ”

“ Had a great time at Comalito! The pupusas were delicious and everything was flavored well and was crisp and fresh. We got complimentary tortilla fries, and ordered Yucca fries, Pastelitos, the salad, and 3 pupusas Revuelta, Ajo y queso, and Jalapeno y queso. The ajo y queso was particularly delicious, and everything overall was great. The only minor piece of criticism I had was that overall, there couldve been just a bit more cheese in the pupusas. For 30 dollars, we had a full meal for 2 leftovers, very reasonable! We wanted to get dessert but were so full by the end that we decided we would come back another time and order less to have room for it. Definitely looking forward to it! ”
